Save the date to join us and go back to the ‘90s for a totally radical Arts For Life annual Trivia Night on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2027.
Gather your home skillets, wear something fly, and it will be all that and a bag of chips as we kick off awards season with a fun theme. Think about 1990s fads, fashions, pop culture, toys and games, blockbuster movies, nights at Blockbuster, Must-See TV, cult classics, Broadway hits and pre-Y2K days before internet, cellphones and digital.
Did you listen to boy bands, alt-rock, grunge, hip-hop and pop princesses in the waning days of the 20th century? Think Pixar, Pokemon, Play Station, Pulp Fiction, Pearl Jam, Potter, Power Rangers, Party of Five, Prince and Pauly Shore (to name a few).
We will announce our nominations for the annual Theatre Mask Awards (plays) and Best Performance Awards (musicals) honoring excellence in community theater and youth productions during 2026.
The event will take place at the Kirkwood Community Center, 111 S. Geyer Road, St. Louis, with doors open at 6:30 p.m. and 10 rounds of general-knowledge questions to begin at 7 p.m.

Cash prizes will be awarded to first and second place teams. There will be a 50/50 raffle, silent auction, mulligans available, and a costume contest, with team and individual prizes.
AFL President Mary McCreight is excited to welcome the theater community and friends to the highly anticipated annual event. “Don’t miss the most fun time in metropolitan St. Louis’ community theater!” she says.
